Should I wear a big hat to a derby day simulcast?

I headed to Tampa Bay Downs for the Derby, and I was wondering if anyone was and if anyone is great derby hats of the incident? (I do not want to wear one and look stupid, and my husband insists everyone will do the same thing, although it has never been) Thanks!

I say corrode a hat and have fun! If you get there and notice no one else is wearing one, you can leave it in the car. I bet you will see many of them, however. Anyway, a hat is a good way to take the pain of your skin, if you have a perfect excuse.
