Q: You’ve been a Cardinals fan all your life-force. Why?

Cohen : I’m from St. Louis. We’re all Cardinals fans. When you come of age up in St. Louis, the Cards and Budweiser are the life blood of the city. When you go to a Cardinals sport in St. Louis, when they play the Budweiser theme and the Clydesdales come out, it’s almost like the patriotic anthem. There’s something patriotic about it that I can’t describe.

Q : Who is your favorite all-time Leading?

Cohen: Lou Brock was big. I had a Brock umbrella. I loved Ozzie Smith and Willie McGee, and I in truth threw out the first pitch at a Cards game last year (in May 2010). It was an mythical night; I have no hand-eye coordination and I stink at baseball, but I’m an addict, not a participant.

Q: What are your favorite Cardinals memories?

Cohen : The 1982 Out of sight Series and the Kool and the Gang song, ‘Celebration,’ which was the Cards anthem in 1982 and all through the at cock crow ’80s. And I loved old Busch Stadium, and that everybody in St. Louis wears red -- they’re categorically dogmatic about wearing red to games. There’s a huge sense of community and connectedness in city.
